A téma rövid leírása, a kidolgozandó feladat részletezése:
A hatékony hőszigetelés kulcsa a minőségi szigetelőanyagok megfelelő alkalmazása.

A kutatás fő célja a cementvakolat hőszigetelőképességének növelése,a gazdaságosság szem előtt tartásával. A cementvakolathoz hozzáadott anyagok többsége nagyon olcsó legyen.
A cementvakolathoz különböző arányban anyagokat kell hozzáadni a hőszigetőképesség növelése céljából pl.:.
• Polisztirol,
• Kókuszhéj,
• Fehér agyag,
• Duzzasztott agyag,
• Polipropilén.
A munka fő célja a módosított vakolatok hőszigetelő képességének ellenőrzése, valamint az anyagok hozzáadásával a szilárdsági hatások vizsgálata. Az elvégzendő különféle tesztek a következők:
• Hővezetési tényező meghatározása,
• Mechanikai tulajdonságok meghatározása,
• Vízfelvétel vizsgálata.

Buildings are one of the leading sectors in the energy consumption throughout the world especially in developed countries. Taking the European Union as an example, the buildings sector consumes around 40% of the total fossil energy and produces nearly 40% of the total carbon dioxide emissions. Most of it is due to the increase in the living standard and in occupants comfort demands, mainly for heating and cooling. Improving the energy efficiency of buildings has a significant benefit for energy-saving and emission-reduction on the earth. In particular, nowadays the trend in the commercial buildings is to decrease the wall thickness to reduce the materials consumed, the transport costs, and the construction time. The main disadvantage of these lightweight buildings is the low thermal mass, resulting in large temperature fluctuations through the building envelope. The key to an effective thermal barrier is proper installation of quality insulation products. A house should have a continuous layer of insulation around the entire building envelope. Studies show that improper installation can cut performance by 20% or more. While some types of insulation reduce air leakage, most do not, so always follow the guidelines to limit the air leakage potential as much as possible. Thermal insulating plasters are an important means to face the energy efficiency issues in building field. New solutions such as nanotechnology or aerogel based plasters, could make a significant contribution to this field, reaching higher levels of thermal performance. Thermal insulation in buildings contributes to reduce the size of heating and cooling systems and the annual energy consumption. The project is being carried out to meet the energy crisis by providing plasters with high thermal insulation, by the use of green materials leading to an efficient and economical way of tackling with the energy issues in the building sector faced throughout the world. The application of the innovative solutions can be therefore a useful tool not only for new constructions but also for the refurbishment of existing buildings, in order to reduce the heat losses of the envelop. The research aims to improve the insulation performance and decrease the cost of insulation methods which are in use in the current date.
The main goal of the project is to increase the thermal insulation of cement plaster. Keeping in view the economy, most of the materials added to the cement plaster are very cheap and in particular are the wastes having almost zero scarp value.
Different proportion of materials will be added to the cement sand mix.
    • Addition of Polystyrene
    • Addition of Coconut Shell
    • Addition of Simple White Clay
    • Addition of Heated Clay
    • Addition of Polypropylene
The main aim of the work is to check the thermal insulation of the modified plasters and see the effect in strength by the addition of these materials. The various tests to perform include:
    • Thermal Conductivity Test
    • Mechanical Tests
    • Water Absorption Tests
