2022. August 29.
The annual FOSS4G conference of the OSGeo community was held in Florence between 24 and 26 August 2022. More than a thousand people attended the conference in person, and about two hundred people followed it online. Two colleagues from our Department took part on the spot, and one more person did it online. We gave one presentation in the academic track (Hrutka Bence, Siki Zoltán, Takács Bence: Voxel-based point cloud segmentation and building detection), while another one was in the general one (Siki Zoltán, Takács Bence, de Holanda Neto Beltrando Ulisses, Hrutka Bence: A Moodle-based complex system to teaching spatial data processing). We were also involved in the organisation as a member of the academic committee and chairman of sessions.
